A Weekend Retreat for Songwriters!
Join us January 15–17, 2027, for the first Sleeping in the Woods Songwriters Retreat, held at The Lodge @ Hidden Ridge Camping in Monticello, Kentucky.
Spend the weekend learning, writing, and connecting with fellow songwriters in an intimate setting built around the craft of songwriting and the community that grows around it.
The retreat will feature four songwriting sessions led by Nicholas Jamerson, Rachel Baiman, Jeri Katherine Howell, and Elvie Shane, with plenty of time throughout the weekend to write, collaborate, workshop songs, share ideas, and learn from one another.
We believe some of the most meaningful parts of a retreat happen between the scheduled sessions, so we’ve intentionally built space into the weekend for conversation, collaboration, and fellowship .
With only 20 spots available, this retreat is designed to stay small and personal, allowing everyone to participate, connect, and spend meaningful time with our instructors and fellow writers.
