Halfway to Summer + New Shows Added

Hi, friends!

I’m checking in to let you know about an exciting new show added this weekend and remind you of the many upcoming opportunities to support and experience live music in community.

May 10 at 5:30 pm / Franklin County Birthday Bash / Lakeview Park / Frankfort, KY

Nat and I are excited to share the stage with Mash Grass and Walker Montgomery to celebrate Franklin Co.’s 229th birthday. Reserve your free tickets here.

May 19 at 10:30 am / Sleeping in the Woods Songwriter Festival / Monticello, KY

As the winner of the Sleeping in the Woods Songwriter contest (yay!), I am performing at the festival! The festival is “a showcase of the country’s most talented singer songwriters curated & hosted by Nicholas Jamerson,” in the forest along Lake Cumberland at Hidden Ridge Camping. Tickets are on sale now.

June 1 at 7 pm / Wildflower Festival / Rush, KY

Ellie Ruth and Nat Colten will join me on stage for a fabulous trio performance at the Wildflower Festival in Rush, KY! Special thanks to Shawna McCown and her family for inviting us.

June 20 at 7 pm / The Monarch / Louisville, KY

Will Orchard and I will split the night at The Monarch, Louisville’s new nonprofit listening room venue. This is a donations-based show, all of which goes directly to us musicians. I appreciate you spreading the word among your Louisville friends or carpooling to the show from elsewhere! It will be wonderful.

June 21 at 7 pm / Nick Teale Single Release Show at Limerick Lounge / Louisville, KY

My friend and incredible musician and singer-songwriter, Nick Teale, invited me to share vocals on his upcoming single release! We’re celebrating with a live show at Limerick Lounge. More details coming soon.

June 22 at 12 pm / The Mountain Grrl Experience / Pikeville, KY

It’s an honor to share my music at The Mountain Grrl Experience, an arts and music festival dedicated to supporting domestic violence services for women in need in Appalachia. The event features music, art, workshops, and educational programs and creates a safe and supportive environment for all. I, too, believe in their vision of a world where all women are safe and equally respected - and that the arts are a key piece of making that vision more and more of a reality each day. Join us!

July 14 / Ama on the Creek with The Montvales / Frankfort, KY

The Montvales are coming to Frankfort, and splitting the night with me! Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson (Cincinnati, OH), who make up the songwriter duo The Montvales, craft intimate, storytelling-driven songs that explore the joys and perils of self-determination. I highly recommend their new album, Born Strangers, and that you come hear them live right in the heart of KY along Elkhorn Creek! Tickets on sale now

Some of my favorite outdoor music events are off to a strong start! Sharing here in case this thrills you as much as it does me:

P.S. The Pink lady's slippers took our breath away on a Red River Gorge Hanson's Point hike this weekend. Gah!
